Understand the runtime: compile smart, run dumb
The two-phase split is the whole architecture: intelligent compile (Forme wiring, canonicalizers, validators) and a dumb run-phase reconciler that only compares fingerprints.
4 · How a contract runs (verified reconciler path)
prose run foo.prose.md→ embody VM in-session (never a shell binary) — AGENTS.md, SKILL.md- Forme wires
### Requires→### Maintainsfacet edges at compile time — forme.md - Wake = input receipt, continuity-clock tick, or gateway edge receipt — responsibility-runtime.md
- Memo key =
(contract_fingerprint, input_fingerprints)only - Unmoved → cheap
skippedreceipt, no render; moved → bounded render →rendered/failed - Only
rendered-with-moved-fingerprint propagates to subscribed downstreams
